#BecauseFutbol Simple Soccer Nail Art

 Nothing to Disclose

My beauties, have you been watching the World Cup this summer?! I definitely have been! I love having amazing quality soccer games so readily available on my Apple TV. After Sunday's game against Portugal, I am eagerly awaiting the next USA game this Thursday. To add some festivity to my hands this week, as someone with a penchant for nail polish would, I did this simple soccer nail art manicure.

The Design

I wanted to do a 'general' soccer-centric nail design because while I am rooting for the USA, I'm also just very happy to watch matches between any of the teams! I figured a fun, simplified design would be perfect to show my enthusiasm. One of the Zoya Pixie Dusts gave me a great texture, sort of like the pitch from far away when viewed on TV. And of course I luckily had a honeycomb shape from my DRK-A plate to make my soccer ball accent nails.

The Polishes

This was a pretty quick and easy manicure with just two main polishes! My grassy nails were 3 coats of Zoya's Pixie Dust polish in Vespa. The dry time was sort of long on this texture polish; not sure if they've improved that with the newer Pixie Dust generations. Zoya Purity was the white base color background for my soccer ball nails; it covers really well in just two coats. Amazing! Then I stamped with my squishy stamper and black polish. The field lines were simply freehanded with Zoya Purity.
