The Digit-al Dozen does Brands: 100 Montaditos

This month's Digit-al Dozen theme is 'brands' - a fun and challenging theme indeed! Since I recently relocated to Miami and have finally been here long enough to have some new local favorites, I'm doing a ~theme within a theme~ this week by focusing on Miami-centric brands I like. First up this week is nail art inspired by a fun restaurant called 100 Montaditos!

What is 100 Montaditos?

100 Montaditos is a fairly inexpensive restaurant that serves up small sandwiches on tiny loaves of bread. They are cheap and delicious with literally 100 different sandwich choices - including some vegetarian sammies! Montaditos themselves have been common in Spain since the 15th Century. There are 100 Montaditos franchises internationally, and domestically mostly in Florida, but they are also expanding to other states like Virginia and New York. YUM! I can't wait to share this place with my parents when they come to visit because I've never been to anything else that's similar before :)

About This Design

First I did 3 coats of Orly Au Champagne, a shimmery white polish, as a base color. Then using my DRK-A stamping plate and blue special Konad polish, I stamped an intricate pattern [specifically the image on the top row three columns in] on all of my nails (except my ring finger, obvs) inspired by the tile mosaic in every restaurant. Some gold dot accents were done here and there with my Barry M Gold Foil Effects polish.

On my ring finger I attempted to freehand the 100M logo using Revlon Electric (yellow) and Pure Ice French Kiss (blue). I think it went fairly well but had to improvise the 00 because my nails are so wee  right now!

Don't forget to check out the other Digit-al Dozen nails below!!

Disclosure: I bought all the things mentioned! If you'd like to know more about my policies, please see my disclosure page.
