Digit-al Dozen: 50 Shades of Leafy Green Nails

Okay okay, technically this is only 5 shades of green, but still! I was really inspired by this cool leafy line pattern and thought I would jazz it up by doing it over different shades of green. Check 'em out!

I used four different shades of green from my China Glaze stash and did a marbley texture by dabbing blobs of polish on my nails and smooshing it around with a plastic baggie (super technical words, you are welcome). Then I tried to clean that up, but it took me like 224 hours because shimmer and glitter really like hanging out on my skin.

Finally I tried to freehand the inspirational leaf pattern all over my nails but apparently no matter how much I trim my brushes, I still make everything sort of huge and now it looks like a confusing leaf camo. Yayyyy!

Anyhoo, monochrome week is such a fun theme since it limits my color choices and helps me flex my creative muscle. Don't forget to check out the other monochrome nails below!
