The Digit-al Dozen: Candy Cane Ruffian

I can't stop raving about how Pahlish's Fleur de Sel (press sample) looks like a bottle of crushed candy canes (seriously, it does, check out the swatches in this post)!! So to add some festive nail art I did some candy cane inspired stamping and some Ruffian details using red, gold, and green as per the theme for this month's Digit-al Dozen. Check 'em out!

Using Konad red and a multi-stripe image from DRK-A at different angles I did traditional candy cane designs on most of my fingers. For an accent I did a more hypnotic image from one of my other plates (I think a Bundle Monster plate?) with CND Green Scene. Barry M gold foil is super smooth and worked really well to freehand the Ruffian outline on all nails. Overall this was pretty easy to do, but also really festive and fun!!

  4. really pretty! The ruffian is so subtle and it doesn't overpower the rest of the mani.

  11. Barry M Gold Foil is my favorite gold polish: great application and great stamping! Fortunately, I have a Barry M supplier as my SIL lives in Ireland :)
