Digit-al Dozen does Tape Manis: Textured Tips with Zoyas!

Welcome to Digit-al Dozen Does Tape Manis! I won't whine too much, but tape manis are not my favorite and thus this week is a real challenge for me. But I'm up to the task! Today I've got a sort of modern spin on a classic look - the vintage half-moon mani. Instead of nice round half moons, I made mine nice and straight wobbly. Then for some fun textured tape play, I added some strips of glittery goodness near the tips with two Zoya Pixie Dust summer shades! Check it out.

Without the stripes of texture polish this mani would be a flop, but the more I look at these, the more I like them! I used butterLondon as my base and then I threw down a quick semi-sheer nudey-beigey color before taping off my half moon sections. Then I used Zoya Sooki on most of my nails, and Zoya Cola as an accent on my ring finger and top-coated.

Once I was sure it was reallllllly dry I used some striping tape diagonally starting from the left tip and painted Destiny (coral Pixie Dust) on my Sooki nails and Miranda (pink-y Pixie Dust) on my Cola nail. I like the mix of colors and textures, even if reds are a wee bit out of my usual nail polish comfort zone.

Check out the other tape manis for today below!
