ABC: Y is for Zoya Yara

I have no idea why I didn't use this polish before right now - it is beautiful and the formula is perfection. From Zoya's description "Yara can be best described as: A medium smoky olive drab with an illuminating splash of bright gold glitter. An olive drab that's anything but- it's completely glam." Take a look!

My bottle of this polish had a really fab formula - it really flowed off the brush perfectly and made painting fun! This swatch is two coats of Yara; I love that the gold flecks are visible in all lighting situations. It dries a few shades darker than the bottle color and then looks a smidge less olivey when dried, too. The name does make me think of this everytime, tho ↯

Don't forget to check out the other 'Y' polishes Bee and Kerrie picked out for today!
I can't believe we're almost done with this series!

  1. Beautiful olive green! Love that it has tiny gold flecks in them! Just the right shade for times when we wanna tone things down a little, yet still wants that little bit of specialness! :)

    1. Polishaholic problems, haha! I was always a teensy bit put off by the bottle color, but I find Zoyas dry darker usually so I like the color on the nail a lot :)
