Tribal Rosebuds

Today's post is brought to you by scrapbooking paper! JK, jk - but I did find some inspiration from searching the interwebz for floral designs and a lot of cutesy rosebud/pastels stuck out at me, as expected. I decided to enjoy myself doing some rando freehand designs with a striper brush mid-way thru my brainstorming session and ta dah - a strange but gorgeous Easter tribal-ish rose bud mani! Check it!

I used one coat of butterLondon Nail Foundation basecoat and then just one coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu (because I had a totally different thing in mind going into this, so I probably would have done 2 coats had I known I was going to end up with pretty much nekkid nails). Then I did the swirly technique for my rosebuds using a neon pink, ChG Pink Plumeria, and an almost white, Orly Pure Porcelain. Then I just did my thang with Essence You Belong to Me and I love the end result! Yay!! It was sad and painful taking this off to do moar floral designs :'(

L-R: OPI Don't Touch My Tutu, China Glaze Pink Plumeria, Orly Pure Porcelain, OPI Who the Shrek Are You?, Essence You Belong to Me (polishes used were all purchased by me!)
