Patchwork: Purple & Gold & Glitter & Floral

Ever since my large 500 follower giveaway where I swatched and did some nail art with my own bottles of the polishes included in the prize package, I've decided it is both an awesome and good idea to keep doing it! I mean, I for one would love to know what cool thing I might have a chance at winning in action and I'm sure you would love to see 'em in action, too. I've already shown you a mega glitzy post chock full of swatches today ((if you missed the swatch post, check it out here)), so here's a matching patchwork tape mani that features all 3 beautiful colors you could win + some floral-ity for this week's blog theme!

I did two coats of bL All Hail the Queen as my base, then topped with HK Girl top coat. Then I did the tape and quick dry top coat thing some more and laid down a triangle of A England Lady of the Lake and then Sally Hansen Big Money. The three giveaway prize polishes look great together and make me think of a super fancy cheerleading outfit or something! Then I taped off the purple and glitter sections to stamp a flowery pattern from my DRK-A plate onto AHtQ using Lady of the Lake. LotL did not stamp super crisply, but I kind of like the faded wallpaper-y look, plus it's cool that it stamps at all. Afterall, there's about 34049 things going on in this mani... Sort of fun to try something new even tho the outcome isn't something I'm raving about.

Which do you prefer, the patchwork with or without the flowers?
