Tri Polish Challenge: Gone Dotty!

For the second round of the Tri Polish Challenge I went dot crazy! As per the rules of the challenge I'm still using the same three polishes -  OPI Call Me Gwen-ever (coral-ish), Funky Dunkey (purple), and Who the Shrek are You? (lime green). You can also use black, white, silver, gold, or glitter toppers in your designs for this challenge but I've been pretty inspired with just the three 'basic' colors so far.

I was really pleasantly surprised that when layering these polishes they didn't make any weird colors!! Usually complimentary colors (or near to compliments) can make overpainting a pain, but I think these look great. I love dots because they are easy and relaxing, they mostly just take patience. It is hard to get accurate photos of these colors together tho - the green looks a little yellow sometimes, but it is very acidy green (very similar to SH Lickety Split Lime but the teeeeeniest bit yellower). I'd say the closest photo for the base colors is the more macro photo of three fingers above; the base colors are right but the dots aren't, mostly because they are layered.

Check out the other coral/green/purple art below!
