favorite new (tried) polish: I was really bowled over by how pretty and versatile BadAss Polish Bling! is! I loved these ombre skittles with it.
favorite new (UNtried) polish: Tbh, I haven't gotten around to the Butter London Holiday collection from last time...whoops!
favorite new (UNtried) indie polish(esssss): The HAREs from last time are still there, but now they're joined by quite a few Lacquistry polishes!! Meh picture courtesy of my Instagram ~skills~
favorite new polish collection: There are so many pastels coming out for spring, which isn't "new" at all.... BUT OMG I AM SO EXCITED FOR LIQUID SAND // PIXIE DUST // TEXTURE POLISH. Look! Look! I already pre-ordered all the Zoyas through my own personal magical fairy friend and I can hardly wait to get them :D
manicure I did: Definitely my snow globe inspired one during Digit-al Dozen!
fave eye look: Hands down the Pink & Grey one inspired by Prettymaking.com!
new technique/tip: Uhm. Nothing? Sorry!
favorite new makeup item: Neutrogena cover sticks (with 'treatment' built in) are working so well for me lately; the texture works really well to actually cover things! I'm also trying to play well with the 42 matte double stack palette from Coastal Scents that I got for Christmas (a lotta powdery and sheer so far, but a majority of the darker shades are more pigmented and there's one blush that I think works well for contouring). I also snagged some Real Techniques brushes - the blush and stippling brush - which I've been experimenting with.
favorite TV show to watch while blogging: I'm back on that Supernatural stuff. Can you believe Sam was drinking _____ in season 4 ?!?!? ACK! ALSO I really like The Neighbors; it's goofy and silly, but short and sweet, too. I don't mind a little bit of adorable family-oriented sitcom goodness for less than 20 minutes every once in a while :p
book: I read Jurassic Park while I was on vacation in December and it was so great! Can't wait to read the other ones. I don't really care that the movies parallel so well because the books are still so fun to read. Plus I love pretending to feel smart by reading about chaos theory + physics. Also, dinosaurs.
