Digit-al Dozen x 31DC: Warhol Flowers

I couldn't do art week without doing something from Andy Warhol!! Andy Warhol was an American artist that was fundamental in pop art and his works focused on artist expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement. His multiple iterations of images through screen printing works really well for today's 'rainbow' theme. I chose his many different Flowers to recreate on my nails and I loveee the result. I'm super happy to be ending this week on a high note! All photos with flash, except for the one with the caption which was taken with my sunlight lamp and no flash.

The base for these nails was equally awesome to do and I look forward to doing this technique again in the near future, maybe with a tutorial even. The flowers were pretty simple; I used a dotting tool and the pointy end of an orange stick to do the petals and the negative space. If you're curious about any of the particular colors, let me know. The periwinkle flowers near the free edge of my ring finger were super hard to photograph. I am so glad I get to wear this mani over the weekend, mwhahaha!
