Digit-al Dozen x 31DC: Black and White Picasso Sketches

I can't go through art week without including something from Picasso!! Pablo Picasso was incredibly prolific during his lifetime and produced about 50,000 pieces of art (crazy, right?). Picasso is the top ranked artist based on sales of his work at auction, and his works are also the most stolen of all artists! I thought about doing nail art inspired by Guernica, which is probably one of his most well known (black and white) pieces BUT! I remembered how great some of his one-line sketches are. From pointer to pinkie, these are 'squirrel', 'dog', and 'owl'.

Oh man, I just love these nails so much. My base color is 3 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, a white cream with a little grey in it. I sketched on the different characters using my Kiss nail art marker. It was so hard for me to take these off, but I will definitely file this idea away for later nail art.

After taking some photos, I decided it would be a good idea to try drawing the rest of the girl's hair on my ring finger, which was pretty cool!  I can't decide which way I like better.
