Cheetah Whatsit

H'okay, so I did these freehand cheetah print nails and then I decided to do more stuff because I guess they seemed too easy/boring? There are things I really like and really dislike about this overall art. But oh well, I hope that this is mostly a learning experience for next time I attempt wild stuff like this without doing practice nails or something... Most photos below were taken with flash in the dark because I hear that's how Scrangie photographs neons; apologies for the bizarre-looking fingers.

The base colors are all unlabeled Color Clubs from their fantastic Poptastic collection; I want to pick up pretty much all of them because they are amazing with their (generally) fab formula and coverage despite being so bright. In person the black and yellow cheetah on the purple nail doesn't have enough contrast, so I'd definitely change that color scheme for next time. The purple required a lot of coats, but it dried down quickly so it didn't bother me.

Sorry, y'all I feel a little worried that I'm sort in a slump compared to last week's art-inspired designs and I'm really being rude to myself PLUS it's been raining here like non-stop for way too many days, which both throws off my lighting annnnnd makes me grumpy  >.< However, my freehand cheetah print is rather rocking in this one (toot toot goes the personal horn).
