This is Halloween! Nail Art Challenge

Yayyy! October! That means oodles of Halloween and fall nail art right here on Manicurity :D To start things off right, I'm doing the 'This is Halloween' nail art challenge created by Bec at Lacquer Dreams. The first day of the challenge is based on horror movies, so I picked The Mothman Prophecies. I did a pretty simple technique for this one; just brushed some black polish onto my tips with a fan brush!

My base color is two coats of Urban Outfitters polish in 'Virgin', the black is a random black I had sitting on my desk (altho when I used thin coats of it brushed on, it looks a lot more dark brown, meh). The eyeballs are very tiny dots of Cult Nails Quench; I wish I had used a brighter red to stand out more from the Mothman body design. Fun fact: while I was photographing these nails last night, there was a really loud thump outside of my house that scared the crap out of me - turned out to be part of a dying tree near my house, and half of it had sort of slumped off into my yard -_-

There will be many more Halloween-y nail arts to follow! See you soon, and happy October

    1. Hey! You can add the link to your blog post at the bottom of the inLinkz code and it will walk you through it. To get the link for just the post about the challenge, open that blog post specifically and copy the URL from the top. Hope that helps :)
