AiS: Can't Wait for Fall!

It's that time of year when little kids (which I have none of) and boyfriends (at least mine) are returning to school, which invokes the idea of sweaters, new pencils, piles of leaves and apple cider and all that. Here in Georgia I've been using a blanket on the couch and wearing a long sleeved dress and remarking at how 'lovely and cool' the weather 84 degrees! Fall is my favorite season and I am starting to feel excited about it, even though I don't usually feel the fall weather until more October/November here. I love football games and wearing short sleeved sweaters (yes, I do that) and having a breeze with my below-90-degree-weather. Here are some warm and cuddly stamped fall nails!

The base for this one is my previously water-marbled latte art nails stamped with Deborah Lipmmann Lara's Theme using a variety of designs from the new Bundle Monster series. I was pleasantly surprised at how this turned out! The opacity of Lara's Theme worked pretty well for stamping and the end result makes me imagine hot cocoa with leaves and sweaters swirling in it (in a good way, you know). From pointer to pinkie the stamps are supposed to represent: pumpkin (obvs), crinkly leaves, fall gradient, and a sweater

  1. What a beautifully written post. I was instantly transported to falling leaves and caramel apple cider while watching the kids in fall colored sweaters pick out pumpkins to carry to the farmer for purchase (they each get one that they can carry all by themselves). I can nearly smell fall now! It's my favorite season. Love the manicure and love the imagery.

  2. I wish I had a caramel apple right now thanks to you! This looks lovely!

  3. Gorgeous! (I really need to come up with a new word to use on your blog! hahahahaha!)

  4. I'm not a fan of fall but I am a huge fan of your mani, looks gorgeous!
