Anyway, here is my Goblet of Fire mani! Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favorite book. I love it because it introduces other magical schools and new characters that are the same age as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I LOVE the Quidditch World Cup and the magical tents and the portkey. I love all the mysterious twists and turns and the challenges of the Tri-Wizard Tournament (except it's four students...Quad-Wizard Tournament?!). And the end is scary and unsettling and wonderful because the bad guy we've been sort of hearing about returns!
It was hard for me to find things that the other ladies hadn't already done for this one, but that's okay. I still enjoyed painting these. From l-r: the Hungarian Horntail from the first task Harry has to complete, the golden egg he obtains from the first task that's a clue to the second task, a hand underwater to symbolize what the Merpeople have taken that the champions would "sorely miss", and finally the last task - the maze in which Harry has to find the Tri-Wizard cup (which is a portkey to a graveyard...*ominous music*)
The blue 'underwater' nail looks lumpy because I put down a flakie first, hoping it would look like bubbles, and then the jelly was thicker than I thought it would be. I also wasn't thrilled with the egg details - I was trying to do shadows and highlights, but I think it looks weird. I included a bonus picture at the very end because I just love how pretty and glowy my pinkie looks in it :D I did the hand horizontally so it would look good either way I took the picture, but the egg is the right way up in the first picture
Don't forget to check out the other ladies doing this *~magical~* challenge with me!

Favourite? I am awful at this game, so this is more like "my two favorites are..."
Hermione - she made me so proud to be a smart girl in junior high! I also love Molly Weasley
Fred & George (yes, as one) or Hagrid
Remus Lupin. I like Professor McGonagall, too, but she's also the Gryffindor Head of House so that seems biased somehow...
Bartie Crouch Jr. because he plays such an important role in the return of the Dark Lord (in Goblet of Fire). But I also love how totally evil Bellatrix Lestrange is
