District Ten: Livestock featuring China Glaze Foie Gras

This is the tenth stop on the annual Hunger Games tribute tour. If you are somehow unfamiliar with The Hunger Games, please read this post to prepare for the 74th Hunger Games. You are a citizen of Panem, but if you need a reminder, you can read about our beautiful nation and its' districts here.

Welcome to District Ten!

District Ten's industry is livestock, and specifically meat for the rest of the nation. Not much is known about this district or its tributes; they don't usually survive for very long in the Hunger Games.

China Glaze Foie Gras feather mani

Soooo no one ever told me what a pain in the butt feather manis are!! I think they're really hard to do well because whenever I went to trim part of it, the little feather bits that weren't attached to the middle portion would fall away so I had weird shaped feather parts to put on. Something I want to practice in the future? Not sure yet. I did feathers to be like chickens because cow print seemed too obvious of a choice for nail art with the prompt being "livestock". This polish, China Glaze Foie Gras, was a little challenging and might need some thinning - it was think and patchy, but I do like the purpley-taupey color of it.

District 11 will be presenting its' tribute presentation soon; please tune in.
The Capitol thanks you for your cooperation and invites you to tour the other districts by clicking here.

May the odds be ever in your favor.
