Wanna See my Blue Ombre Undies??

Hi all! Today I'm going to share my underwear with you. Whatttt? Yes, my underwear from yesterday's glitter swatch!!

I'm holding Revlon Surf and FingerPaints ToTeally Chic in this photo
I mentioned in the review post for Once Upon a Polish's Flotsam and Jetsam that I did one coat of the glitter polish over an array of base colors to see how different they would look. In pictures, I don't think my finger bits look different at all and IRL it's also really hard to tell the difference. My favorite base color for the glitter in person is FingerPaints To-Teally Chic because I think it shows off the teeny green-blue glitter in the base the best, but it really didn't make a huge difference.

l-r: Revlon Surf, FingerPaints To-Teally Chic, OPI Ski Teal We Drop, Zoya Cynthia
And here's a quick pic of yesterday again to show you what I mean; Flotsam and Jetsam is mighty opaque! Can you tell a difference? I think you can spot a slight difference at the cuticle line, but other than that - looks similar to me!

Hope your week is going splendidly so far!

  1. I love the FingerPaints To-Teally Chic!!!!!!!!!!11
it is such a perfect dirty blue color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never seen fignerpaints nail polish in stores though. Where do they sell it?

    1. FingerPaints are sold exclusively in Sally Beauty stores. Unfortunately this particular color was limited edition from their recent fall collection, but I thought it was a little similar to Orly Sapphire Silk when I swatched on paper (to find the right order of shades for this ombre mani). There's a comparison here - http://icynails.blogspot.com/2012/01/comparisons.html

      Hope that helps!

  2. really grooving on the new layout AND your nails are so very beautiful- wonderful pics too!!
