MSMD: Revlon Royal + Sally Hansen Glass Slipper Sammie

Oof, that's a title, eh? Well at least I didn't spell out 'Monkey See Monkey Do'! Welcome to my first MSMD post! Monkey See Monkey Do is a weekly challenge from the Purple Crumpet Fairy Challenge group on Facebook to recreate a nail look you've seen and been inspired to try for yourself [obviously while giving the original creator credit]. I've been wanting to try this unconventional layered mani from Sarah at Chalkboard Nails posted way back in JANUARY for foreverrrr - and now I have!

I followed her description exactly since I already own all the polishes used in this, and let me tell you something she did not - this is possibly the quickest manicure I've done ever?! 1 coat of Wet n Wild Black Creme + 1 generous coat of Sally Hansen Glass Slipper + 1 coat of Revlon Royal, then topped with Seche Vite and I was done in what felt like 5 minutes = awesome. Thanks for the idea, Sarah! This is one awesome mani!!

Aren't these monkeys super adorable?? Oh why yes, I did draw them myself with my sly Adobe Illustrator skills :) Anywhoo, make sure and check out the other ladies below! There's a gallery of all their manis and then a blog roll to follow.
