Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance Manicure

Hi all! My lovely friend Bee has a guest blog post today by a woman, Jackie Clark, that does outreach for the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance. I wanted to help support both Bee and this cause by doing a quick manicure in the Alliance's colors, yellow and navy. These are some nails from a while ago (look at how much I've improved with clean up since the end of December, eh?), but I thought these fit the theme well!

The base is OPI Russian Navy matte and the glitter tips are China Glaze Blonde Bombshell.

Something that makes me feel good about myself when I don't feel well or I'm emotionally drained is the little details - like painting my nails. When I'm short on time, matte polish is my go-to! It makes a big impact and makes me feel 'polished' (ha) to have some color on my tips. Matte polish comes in a variety of colors and finishes (creme mattes like the one in this mani, or suede ones like ManGlaze). Glitter is also very easy to add on - especially gradient tips (another one of my go-to moves lately, it seems) and adds a lot of sparkle which puts a smile on my face.

Please check out the post on Bee's blog by Jackie Clark here. Thanks for reading!
